Through a three-year grant funded by the U.S. Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crime, Voices for Florida has launched transitional housing assistance services. The new services support survivors, ages 18-24, who have demonstrated readiness to live independently. Once deemed eligible and approved, the local Outreach Team help the survivor identify appropriate housing and provide rent assistance for 6-24 months.

Since July 2021, seven individuals, made up of survivors and their dependents, are now receiving housing services. We are in the process of reviewing four additional applications and look forward to providing additional transitional housing assistance.
