About Us - Backbone Organization

Others Hope for Change.
We Create It.

Voices for Florida is a survivor-led non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that makes hope happen. Founded in 1976, we have a long history of teaming with others to create transformational change for vulnerable children. We do this by advancing innovative service models based on promising practices and insight from people most affected. The Open Doors Outreach Network is our latest collaboration.

Survivor-Led Team

Our diverse team includes a broad range of leaders, partners and survivors working together to create change for children.

Mission/Vision

Everything we do is shaped by our mission, vision and values of research, innovation, diversity, equity and collaboration.

Affiliate

We are an affiliate of American Children’s Campaign, Florida’s leading child advocacy organization.

Teamwork Makes Our Dream Work

We believe children’s futures should be as limitless as their dreams. Together with others, we have launched innovative service delivery solutions to systemic problems holding children back. Many have become household names. Just as importantly, hundreds of thousands of children’s lives have been improved. The following are some of the key outcomes from our collaborative efforts to create change for children throughout our organizational history:
